The kits, like this crochet jacket kit, are your best allies as a knitter, specially if you are a beginner, because you don’t have to worry about calculating the yarn you need, the designer has already calculated it for you.
Also, the kits are cheaper, and in our case, in this particular kit and in some others you’ll find on the web, the bigger the size, the lower the price per skein!
Enjoy knitting this winning design in the crochet category of the Tú sí que tejes contest, made by Esther Demi.
I’ll add that Nelly was Esther’s kitty, and she decided to name it in her honour ♥
About the yarn:
It’s a very soft yarn with 75% extra fine Australian merino, as always, a mulesing free yarn, which together with the 25% silk, will glide across your crochet like a skater on the ice rink.
The yarn is hand-dyed with OEKO-TEX 100 certified dyes.
The competition: if you’re new here, you can see what the competition was about here.
READ ME. Important information:
You should be aware that artisanal dyeing is not like industrial dyeing. The batches are small, and the intensity and distribution of the colours can vary from one skein to another. In this case, as it is a kit, the skeins will be dyed in the same batch, but even so, sometimes there are variations between them.
It is also important for you to know that the colours may look different on each screen and that the mix and distribution of colours you receive may differ from the photo because no two skeins are exactly the same.
In any case, no worries! because if when you receive the skeins they are not what you expected, we will start the return process without any problem and at no cost to you.
Although in this case, the yarn is superwash, it is necessary to wash it by hand with water at a temperature below 30º with a neutral soap. Dry the garment horizontally to avoid deformation.
