Columba: Latin for Dove, is a small constellation created in 1542.
The name is related to the dove that Noah sent to check that the flood waters had receded.
This color has a particularly complex dyeing process: Columba is dyed individually, i.e. each skein is unique and independent of the others. There is no batch dyeing, the 9 natural dyes are distributed in an artistic and whimsical way.
For this reason, the base tone can vary in intensity from one ball to another, which gives the design a lot of personality, which is the evidence of this unique and handmade dyeing… not suitable for perfectionists 😉
